Ranakpur Jain Temple
It is a magnificent temple made from white marble, located in Udaipur. Jainism is a religion that believes in nonviolence against all living things. It was built by a local businessman Dharna Shah after he had a dream about a celestial vehicle.
Best Time to Visit: Winter season
Temple Timings: 6:30 am to 8:15 pm.
Palitana Jain Temples
There are more than 900 temples in Palitana, Gujarat individually dedicated Jain temples over different areas spread across the hill. The one in Shatrunjaya features a pink pillar topped with a sculptured image of Adinath, and an arched gate that leads to a smaller open structure. Inside is a relic of the tooth of Lord Mahavira that is kept in a statue-like metal container, flanked by two sculptures of Mahavira on either side. There are intricate carvings dedicated to other Jain saints as well. With thousands of marble panels, exotic carvings and some ancient wooden structures, Palitana is a Jain pilgrimage center located in the state of Gujarat.

Ramanathaswamy Temple
There are many mythologies for this temple, some say that the temple is situated on the ground where Lord Rama prayed to Lord Shiva seeking forgiveness for the sins he may have committed during his battle with King Ravana while some say that he prayed on his way to rescue his wife from Lanka while some say Goddess Sita gave him blessings to kill Ravana. It is also one of the Char Dham places and is believed to be one where Moksha can be attained.
Best Time to Visit: October to April is the best time to visit
Timings: 4:30 am – 1 pm and 3 pm – 8:30 am
Virupaksha Temple
Virupaksha Temple, also known as the Hampi Temple, is one of the oldest and famous temples in Hampi, Karnataka. It was built by Queen Lokamahadevi to celebrate the victory of her husband King Vikramaditya over Pallavas of Kanchipuram. This is a beautiful place with extraordinary marbles with carvings on all and unlike many other structures at Hampi, this temple was also saved during the war.
Best Time to Visit: during the festivities like Marriage Festivals of Pampa Devi and Virupaksha & Chariot Festival.
Timings: 9 am - 1 pm and 5 pm - 9 pm.
Sharadamba Temple
Sharadamba Temple in Sringeri, devoted to the deity of Sharada Devi, is the first Matha built by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century. It is believed that Sharada Devi is the incarnation of Goddess Saraswati and worshipping the Devi will gain them blessings from all lords and goddesses as well.

Airavatesvara Temple
Airavatesvara Temple is located in Kumbakonam, Tamilnadu. This temple is on water. A perfect place to have a family time and a spiritual one at it. The carvings on the steps and on the walls are quite beautiful and worth spending time over. It is believed to be built by King Rajaraja II and has taken a period of five years to build. The temple got its name because a great elephant named Airavata, belonging to Lord Indra was found here with his 7 trunks and 4 tusks by the local people. It is told that, after getting hurt from the sage Durvasa’s curse, the elephant took a bath in water here to free himself from the curse.

Gandikota Temple
The Temple is situated on the banks of river Pennar in Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh. It is also a terrific destination for adventure activities such as rappelling, bouldering, trekking and river crossing. The magnificent Grand Canyon of India is named as Gandikota, which is located in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The formation of this gorge happened over a long period of time as the swift flow of water carved away at the rock, therefore giving it a depth which people find unbelievable.
